PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially practicable method for production with which di(meth)acryloyloxytetrahydrofuran formed as a by-product by a reaction is removed to produce high-purity 3-(meth)acryloyloxy-4-hydroxytetrahydrofuran.;SOLUTION: 3,4-Dihydroxytetrahydrofuran represented by general formula (1) is (meth)acryloylated to produce the 3-(meth)acryloyloxy-4-hydroxytetrahydrofuran represented by general formula (2) [wherein, R¹ is an acryloyl or a methacryloyl group represented by general formula (4) {wherein, R² is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and the wavy line represents a binding site}].
