PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a symbol discrimination apparatus configured to perform reception while following up a deviation of each transmission station at high speed and with high accuracy even in an environment where deviations of a plurality of transmission stations are different.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a symbol discrimination apparatus 40 for a digital modulation signal in the case of receiving, detecting and demodulating a signal modulated with a digital signal into a transmitted original information signal, including: an integration processing unit 6 for calculating an integration value of a value obtained by sampling a signal receiving and detecting a modulation signal of a predetermined data sequence, at a sampling rate greater than a symbol rate of the digital modulation signal when the modulation signal of the data sequence is received; a threshold unit 7 which determines a threshold for discriminating a deviation that is a shift in the physical quantity of symbols of the signal receiving and detecting the digital modulation signal based on the integration value; and a symbol detection unit 8 for discriminating the deviation of the signal receiving and detecting the digital modulation signal using the threshold determined by the threshold unit 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
