PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microdevice for enabling the manipulation of a minute object in a liquid under fluorescence observation.;SOLUTION: The microdevice includes at least one site to be captured in a fluid by an electrostatic force, a magnetic force, a light pressure force, a hydrodynamic force and the like and at least one site having a shape or mechanism suitable for manipulating an object, wherein the X-Y dimension of at least one site among these sites is less than 100 μm and a fluorescent label 3 is present in at least one local region sufficiently distant from the contact site 2 to the object 8 on the microdevice.
