PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caisson sinking method and a caisson sinking management system, which prevent excessive settlement of a caisson skeleton, by preventing self-settlement of the caisson skeleton.;SOLUTION: The caisson sinking method comprises: an excavation process of excavating from the inside of the caisson skeleton; and a press-in process of sinking the caisson skeleton in the ground by dead weight of the caisson skeleton and an introducing load by adding the downward introducing load to the caisson skeleton. In the excavation process, the ground is excavated in the excavation depth and an excavation diameter set based on a preset value of tip ground resistance force. In the press-in process, settlement starting time of the caisson skeleton is detected by a settlement gauge and a load gauge, and skeleton inside stress of the caisson skeleton in the detected settlement starting time is detected, and a correction value of the preset value is determined with the skeleton side stress as the point resistance force. After the press-in process, the preset value is corrected by the correction value, and an adjusting process of adjusting the excavation depth and the excavation diameter in the next excavation process, is performed based on a newly set value after a correction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
