PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration material for filtration type dust removal filters which is usable regardless of the ambient environments where the filters are to be used and which has non-flammability at a prescribed level independently of addition of a flame retardant.;SOLUTION: The non-flammable filtration material for dust removal filters comprises, as filtration material fibers, 0.1 to 10 mass% of glass fibers with an average fiber diameter of 3.0 μm or smaller or a glass fiber mixture containing mainly the glass fibers and other glass fibers with a different average fiber diameter and 99.9 to 90 mass% of organic fibers and has non-flammability satisfying combustibility grade 3 measured by a method described in JIS L 1091:1999, "Testing methods for combustibility of textiles" A-1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
