PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and surely obtain management for an information asset such as a file copied easily and missed easily by converting a file format or the like. PSOLUTION: The information asset management system includes: a monitoring program 11 for monitoring an event related to an operation of a user, in a network environment, and for preparing a terminal log 12; a terminal log collecting program 21 for recovering the terminal log 12 and for accumulating an integrated log 22; and a correlation analytical program 31 for analyzing the presence of the information asset, using the integrated logs 22. The monitoring program 11 monitors the information asset, including a feature value thereof, when the user exports the information asset from the network environment, and when imported into the network environment, and the correlation analytical program 31 determines the propriety of the information asset by comparing the feature value before exported, with the feature value after exported, and reports a list of the information assets in an organization.
