PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy extruded shape material exhibiting proof stress and impact absorbing properties applicable to the structural members of automobiles or the like according to hardening by air cooling after an extrusion molding.;SOLUTION: The aluminum-magnesium-silicon based aluminum alloy extruded shape material is obtained by subjecting an aluminum alloy having a composition containing, by mass, 0.5 to 0.9% magnesium, 0.9 to 1.3% silicon, 0.36 to 0.50% iron, 0.005 to 0.1% titanium and 0.15 to 0.30% manganese, and in which copper is limited to ≤0.4%, chromium to ≤0.05% and zirconium to ≤0.05%, and the balance aluminum with inevitable impurities to extrusion molding, and thereafter applying work strain thereto by an amount of 2 to 5%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
