PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly supply combustion air to have a good combustion state in a rotary kiln furnace.;SOLUTION: In this method of controlling supply of combustion air to a kiln furnace in combustion equipment comprising the rotary kiln furnace 1, a stoker furnace 2 for guiding the combustion residue and an exhaust gas to further burn the same, and having a boiler portion 35, and exhaust gas treatment facilities 3, quantities of air to be supplied to a former stage side and an intermediate stage side of the kiln furnace are respectively determined on the basis of a set evaporation quantity in the boiler portion on the basis of waste charging quantity, the quantity of air of the former stage is corrected to keep a measured temperature in the former stage of the kiln furnace within a set range, and further the quantity of air of the intermediate stage is corrected to keep the quantity of air supplied to a secondary combustion furnace and the exhaust gas treatment facilities, the quantity of exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust gas treatment facilities, and oxygen concentration at a kiln furnace outlet determined on the basis of the quantity of residual oxygen obtained from the amount of oxygen in the air and the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas, within predetermined set ranges.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
