PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact spring return type pneumatic actuator, smoothly operable by predetermined torque, by restraining a pressure change in a body, while smoothly and normally operating by preventing foreign matter such as moisture and a dust from infiltrating into the body.;SOLUTION: This spring return type pneumatic actuator is constituted so that a piston 13 reciprocating by air suppied and exhausted from a primary side supply-exhaust air port 23, a piston rod 12 connected to this piston 13, a conversion mechanism 60 converting reciprocating motion of this piston rod 12 into rotary motion, a spring 43 elastically repulsed by the reciprocating motion of the piston rod 12, and a space up to a storage chamber 40 of the spring 43 from the secondary side of the piston 13, have the predetermined volume in a casing 11, and a communicating space chamber 18 is formed of this predetermined volume via a communicating part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
