PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method capable of measuring accurately far-field directivity of a main beam direction of a lengthy antenna by using a far-radiation-field measuring system in a normal anechoic chamber, even when a sufficient measuring distance cannot be secured.;SOLUTION: In this far-field measuring system equipped with one or more wave sources arranged on an arc, a rotation part, a network analyzer, and a calculation part, the far-field E_far(mθ) is determined by calculation following the formula 1, from electric field intensity E_near(mθ+nϕ) measured by the network analyzer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
