PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silent chain transmission device suppressing the wear of tooth portions.;SOLUTION: The silent chain transmission device 1 comprises a silent chain 3 formed by connecting a plurality of link plates 5 in linkage to one another via connection pins 6 in the longitudinally driving direction, the link plates 5 each having the pair of tooth portions 51 and a pair of pin holes 52 to which the connection pins 6 are loosely fitted, and a sprocket wheel 2 having the plurality of tooth portions 21 on the outer periphery for engaging with the tooth portions 51 of the silent chain 3. On the meshing face of each of the tooth portions 21 of the sprocket wheel 2, an inside leg seating portion 21Ab and an outside leg seating portion 21Aa are formed on which an inside leg portion 51Ab of the link plate 5A is seated and on which an outside leg portion 51Ba of the link plate 5B preceding the link plate 5A is seated, respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
