PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost gas-shielded arc welding flux-cored wire which is improved in fatigue strength at a low cost, and ensures high speed weldability, low spatter properties, low slag properties and high arc stability, and to provide a welding method. PSOLUTION: The wire has a composition containing, based on the total mass of the wire, 0.02 to 0.70% C, 0.30 to 1.50% Si, 0.50 to 5.00% Mn, 2.0 to 9.5% Ni, 4.0 to 18.0% Cr plus Ni (including the case that Cr is not contained), 0.020% O, and 0.0020 to 0.0400% N, and being regulated to contain 0.030% P, 0.030% S, 0.15% Ti, 0.20% Al, at least one kind selected from the group consisting of Nb, V, Mo and Cu by 2.00% per element, 0.0100% B, 0.50% REM, 1.00% Mg, at least one kind selected from the group consisting of F and Ca by 0.100% per element, at least one kind selected from the group consisting of K, Na and Li by 0.200% in total, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and has a flux ratio of 7 to 30%.
