PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode alloy for a cold-cathode fluorescent discharge tube that has a longer lamp service life, as compared with that of the cold-cathode fluorescent discharge tube equipped with an electrode formed with pure Ni, superior cost benefit and superior moldability, and to provide an electrode for the cold-cathode fluorescent discharge tube, or the like, formed with the alloy.;SOLUTION: The electrode alloy is an Fe-based alloy constituted of containing 3.0 to 8.0% of Ni or Cr in % by mass and balance of Ni and unavoidable impurities. Moreover, this electrode for the cold-cathode fluorescent discharge tube is equipped with a tube part 3, in which one end is left open and an end plate part 4 to close the other end of the tube part 3, while the tube part 3 and the end plate part 4 are integrally molded by using the Fe-based alloy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
