PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device, for multi-axis machines for machining slope faces, capable of parallelizing the direction of a feature coordinate system (Xf, Yf, Zf) to the direction of a tool coordinate system (Xt, Yt, Zt) even to any feature coordinate system command.;SOLUTION: This numerical control device controls a multi-spindle machine which performs machining on a slope face of a workpiece by three linear-motion axes for controlling at least the position of a tool with respect to the workpiece attached to a table and three rotational-motion axes for controlling the direction of the tool with respect to the tool. This numerical control device analyzes a command program 81 by analysis means 82, interpolates it by interpolation means 83, drives servos 90x, 90y, 90z, 90a, 90b, and 90c of the respective axes, calculates the positions of the three rotational-motion axes such that the tool coordinate system, or a coordinate system mounted on the tool and moving along with the movement of the tool, is parallelized with the feature coordinate system, or a coordinate system representing the slope face on the workpiece, and drives the three rotational-motion axes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
