PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the existing technology for reducing power consumption cannot be used for a self-luminous type display apparatus and cannot be utilized while a picture is displayed.;SOLUTION: When a same gradation pattern in which the same gradation value appears continuously both in horizontal and vertical directions, appears, only gradation values of a part of the pixels forming the same gradation pattern are changed into a smaller gradation value.
