PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing crack or preventing development of crack occurring in the contact surface with a rotor core side wedge easily by treatment from the outer circumferential surface of the rotor core section, and to provide a method for preventing development of crack in a rotary electric machine rotor, a rotary electric machine rotor from which crack is removed or development of crack is prevented by the crack removing method or the development of crack preventing method, and a rotary electric machine equipped with that rotary electric machine rotor.;SOLUTION: In the rotary electric machine rotor 10 comprising a plurality of slots formed in the outer circumferential surface of a rotor core section 11 in the axial direction, a coil contained in the slots 12, and wedges inserted into the upper portion of the slots 12 while being arranged in the axial direction in order to hold the coil in the slots 12, at least the deepest portion of a crack 14 at the rotor core section 11 occurred in the contact surface with the wedge is removed by boring the rotor core section 11 from the outer circumferential surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
