PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture distribution system capable of a moving picture distribution, which extracts and distributes moving picture data on only a required scene for a user in moving picture data and to provide a communication terminal. SOLUTION: When a user uses a communication terminal 2 to designate moving picture data 121 in moving picture data stored in a database 12, an information processing section 11 acting like a providing means transmits a plurality of frame pictures 122 in the moving picture data 121 as a sample. Succeedingly, a moving picture data processing section 113 acting like an extract means extracts moving picture data 124 comprising a plurality of consecutive frame images based on frame images 1221, 1222 selected from the frame image 122 provided as a sample by the user. Then a distribution means allows a moving picture distribution server 1 to distribute the scene desired by the user to the communication terminal 2.
