PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color reproduction model creating method for obtaining a maximum physical quantity optimum to an image forming material and using the maximum physical quantity optimum to the image forming material, a storage medium for storing a color conversion profile created on the basis of a color reproduction model, and an image forming apparatus mounted with the storage medium. PSOLUTION: A color chart to which no pile height limit is placed is formed on recording paper 20, a colorimeter applies colorimetric processing to the color chart to obtain a colorimetric value. The colorimetric value is analyzed to obtain a maximum pile height, a color chart is again formed on the recording paper on the basis of the maximum pile height, the colorimeter applies colorimetric processing to the color chart to obtain a colorimetric value, and a color reproduction model is created on the basis of the colorimetric value.
