PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the convenience and confidentiality in the exchange of information via a network.;SOLUTION: The information management system comprises an information management host 1 connected to a network N, and information processing apparatuses A and B connected to the network N. The information management host 1 creates a common key, which is a common encryption key, and registers it in the information processing apparatuses A and B. After the registration, the information management host 1 erases the common key.
