PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when an existing file system conventionally used for a single-layer disk is applied to a double-layer disk, a plurality of volume control information matters disposed in positions separated on the disk in the single-layer disk are made closer and data reliability for resistance to damage is reduced.;SOLUTION: The optical disk includes: a first information recording layer to which physical sector numbers are assigned in the ascending order toward the outer periphery from the inner periphery; and a second information recording layer to which the physical sector numbers are assigned in the ascending order toward the inner periphery from the outer periphery.
