PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultra-fine staple fiber made of resin having a relatively uniformed fiber length, and to provide a method for simply producing the same.;SOLUTION: The method for producing an ultra-fine staple fiber made of a resin and having a relatively uniformed fiber length, includes preparing a spinning solution containing a resin, subjecting the spinning solution to a method such as electrostatic spinning, for example, treatment with ultrasonic waves of about 10-100 kHz. The ultra-fine staple fiber has an average fiber diameter of 1,000 nm or less, an average fiber length of 20 μm or less, and a CV value of fiber length of 55% or less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
