PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system capable of solving the troublesome problem of maintenance management, and to provide a method for managing a computer unit, the computer unit and its program, a management device, and a management program.;SOLUTION: The computer system 1 includes: a computer unit 12 mounted at an optional position out of a plurality of predetermined positions; and a management device 11 for managing the computer unit 12. The computer unit 12 has a position information control part 121 for outputting the position information for expressing the mounting position of the computer units 12 to the management device 11 through communication using a tentative IP (internet protocol) address. The management device 11 includes: a management control part 111 for determining a formal IP address corresponding to the position information; and an IP address distribution part 112 for distributing the tentative IP address to the computer unit 12 and the formal IP address to the computer unit when distributing the formal IP address.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
