PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller for a fixing device formed by covering the surface of an elastic layer with a resin tube serving as a surface layer, the roller being designed so as to prevent crack in the resin tube despite the thinning of the layer of the resin tube.;SOLUTION: The roller 1 for the fixing device is formed by covering the surface of the elastic layer 1b with the resin tube serving as the surface layer 1c.
