PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality in its early stage from change situation of oil quantity, hydraulic pressure or gas pressure in the preceding stage prior to an alarm at alarm point in design, by detecting slight oil leakage more accurately.;SOLUTION: This OF (Oil Filled) cable abnormality detector 1, which computes a prediction expression by multiple regression analysis, using the oil quantity, hydraulic pressure or gas pressure as target variates and temperature classification as explanatory variates, and monitors the abnormality of an OF cable, using this prediction expression, is equipped with a means which inputs the measurements of target variates and the explanatory variates, a correlation calculating means 12 which computes the target variates, using the values measured at the times staggered in order for every temperature classification, and calculates the correlation of these target variates with the measurements and calculates the optimum time from the calculation results, and a judging means which judges the sign of abnormality, based on the difference between the predictor of target variates, which are computed based on the prediction expression, using the measured data before a time obtained by the correlation calculating means for every temperature classification, and the measurements of the target variates.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
