PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time for creating three-dimensional data of a building while attaining reduction of a user's labor required for the creation and improvement in accuracy.;SOLUTION: Data of an elevational view and a plan view of the building is read, and the elevational view of the building is horizontally partitioned at positions of coordinates of other apexes on the outer shape of the building differed in horizontal coordinate from a point where the outer shape of the building crosses the ground surface to divide the building to each layer, and layer division data storing at least, for all layers, height information of each layer is created. Outer shape data retaining information for the outer shape of the building shown by plan views corresponding to the respective layers is created. Three-dimensional data in which the outer shape shown by the plan view forms the outer shape of a uniform plan view in the layer shown by the plane view concerned is created using the layer division data and the outer shape data for all layers, and the three-dimensional data is displayed on a screen in conformation to a reference point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
