PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping thread cutting machine and a piping thread cutting method for facilitating thread cutting of various pipings, particularly, existing pipes with easy handling.;SOLUTION: The piping thread cutting machine comprises a chuck member 2 to be inserted in a piping 40 to be thread-cut for hooking itself to the inner periphery of the piping 40 and a chaser 24 supported on the chuck member 2 to be freely rotated and translated for applying thread cutting to the outer periphery of the piping 40 with the chuck member 2 hooked.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
