PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously materialize both easy management and certain protection of secret information.;SOLUTION: Image data of a read document or an electronic document are divided into a secure document and a non-secure document, and the secure document and the non-secure document are respectively stored in separate places designated by a user by a user interface. The non-secure document thus stored does not include substance of a secure page. Accordingly, when the non-secure document is absent in the place allowing reference to the secure document, each page of the secure document cannot be referred to from the non-secure document. A file managed as the secret information is only a file by the secure document, so that capacity of the file managed as the secret information can be reduced as compared to the case that the whole document is managed as the secret information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
