PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide zeolite of which the performance is degraded little even when used at a high temperature, or repeatedly, or for a long time; its production method; an adsorbent containing the zeolite; and a heat utilization system or the like using the adsorbent.;SOLUTION: The zeolite is a carbon-containing silicoaluminophosphate which contains 0.8-6 wt.% carbon and has a skeletal structure constituted of Me, Al, P, and Si. The molar ratios of Me, Al, P, and Si, to the sum of Me, Al, P, and Si, are represented by expression 1: 0≤x≤0.3, expression 2: 0.2≤y≤0.6, expression 3: 0.3≤z≤0.6, and expression 4: 0.001≤w≤0.3, respectively. In the expressions, Me is at least one element selected from among elements belonging to groups 2A, 7A, 8, 1B and 2B; x, y, z, and w mean the molar ratios of Me, Al, P, and Si, respectively. When the silicoaluminophosphate is fired to a carbon content lower than 0.3 wt.%, the skeletal structure before firing is maintained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
