PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amino acid degradation odor inhibitor and an amino acid-containing food or drink that can effectively prevent the degradation odor of amino acids. The above-mentioned problems are solved by an amino acid-deteriorating odor inhibitor containing an ester compound represented by the following formula (I) as an active ingredient and an amino acid-containing food or drink containing the ester compound.
