PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further exactly and surely decide the possibility of rollover of a vehicle as compared with a conventional deciding device by deciding the possibility of rollover of the vehicle based on steering angle and steering angular velocity.;SOLUTION: When the vehicle travels at vehicle speed of a prescribed value or more (S320), a state in which the steering angular velocity of an additional steering direction is the reference value θd3 or more is continued for a prescribed time T3 or more, the size of the steering angle θ is the reference value θ3 or more, the vehicle speed V is the reference value V3 or more, and the size of lateral acceleration Gy of the vehicle is the reference value Gy3 or more (S340 to 370), an emergency evasion steering state is decided and the possibility of the rollover of the vehicle is decided (S360) in this device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
