PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air circuit breaker for automatically discharging a closing spring at a pull-out position in a pull-out type air circuit breaker, and an automatic discharging apparatus for the closing spring in the air circuit breaker.;SOLUTION: There is provided a cam shaft rotation preventing mechanism, which is installed on a cam shaft operating so as to charge and discharge the closing spring, and which can prevent the rotation of the cam shaft by an elastic restoring force of the closing spring; and a mechanism for releasing the cam shaft rotation preventing mechanism, which is connected to the cam shaft rotation preventing mechanism, and which releases the cam shaft so as to rotate by the elastic restoring force of the closing spring, according to positions where the body of the circuit breaker is pulled out of a cradle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
