A Sparassis crispa extract can be produced by extracting a mycelium of a mushroom Sparassis crispa with an aqueous ethanol solution to produce an ethanol extract, condensing the ethanol extract, and partitioning the condensed solution with water and ethyl acetate, thereby producing the Sparassis crispa extract as the ethyl acetate fraction. The Sparassis crispa extract comprises at least one of the biaryl compounds represented by the structural formulae (1), (2) and (3).
