PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for confirming a removal of the moisture in a solid-phase extraction column which simply confirm the removal of the moisture in the solid-phase extraction column. PSOLUTION: The invention includes additionally filling the solid-phase extraction column 1 with a water sensitive material discolored in response to the existence of the moisture when a dehydration process is implemented after a sample fluid passes through the solid-phase extraction column 1, and allows visual observation of a condition of the discolored water sensitivity material. The existence of the residual moisture can be simply confirmed by adding the water sensitive material and visually observing the condition of the discolored water sensitive material.
