PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and firmly mount jewelry on artificial nails, even if the jewelry is large in plan view.;SOLUTION: The lower part of a pedestal (5) retaining the jewelry (7) on its upper part is fixed to a sculpture nail (3). The mounting method includes a retaining step, a recess forming step, a solvent application step, an adhesive application step, and a fixing step. In the retaining step, the jewelry (7) is retained to the pedestal (5). In the recess forming step, a mounting recess (4) is formed at a part where the jewelry (7) is mounted. In the solvent application step, the inner face of the mounting recess (4) is softened. In the adhesive application step, adhesive (6) is disposed between the mounting recess (4) and the pedestal (5).
