PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent circulating water from foaming in a water-circulation type compressor.;SOLUTION: In the water-circulation type compressor 1 which keeps circulating systems 10, 20, 31, and 32 of circulating water located between a compressor body 10 and separator receiver tank 20, a container 42 having a space through which the circulating water passes is arranged in a circuit (return circuit 32) for supplying the circulating water separated by the separator receiver tank 20 to the compressor body 10, and an absorbent having the function of reducing interfacial tension of water, that is, an absorbing function against a substance (interface activation substance) such as an organic solvent is kept in the container 42. Thus, the interface activation substance in the circulating water is absorbed and removed by the absorbent such as activated carbon when the circulating water passes through the container 42, so that foaming of the circulating water caused by the presence of the interface activation substance can be suitably prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
