PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically measure deviation from an installing position of a wayside coil.;SOLUTION: A track and land vehicle advance to a wayside coil position, and detects a bright line appears in a laser bright line irradiating area on the wayside coil by images from digital cameras 12, 13. After the bright line is detected, imaged from the digital cameras 12, 13 when the rack and land vehicle moves during a period decided by length in a traveling direction of the rack and land vehicle, the moving speed of the rack and land vehicle, and frame rates of the digital cameras 12, 13 of the wayside coil are processed, thereby extracting three specified points which are intersecting points between the bright line and a track surface edge and a wayside coil center on the bright line. An opposite position to a center between the tracks of the wayside coil center, and height from a track top surface on a top surface of the wayside coil are computed by using the specified points.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
