PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the thermal efficiency of a power plant while reducing an area to be remodelled in the existing power plant facility, when converting a non-reheat power plant to a reheat power plant.;SOLUTION: Remodelling to a reheat power plant is achieved by additionally mounting to the existing non-reheat power plant a heater 7 using part of the main steam from a steam generator 1 as a heat source for heating an exhaust steam having a moisture content reduced with a moisture separator 6, a heater drain tank 18 into which a heater drain is introduced, a heater drain piping 20 connecting the heater drain tank 18 with the condenser piping 23 of a condenser system, and a drain cooler 19 mounted halfway on the heater drain piping 20 to cool the heater drain.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
