PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of simultaneously photographing such compositions that much more detail expressions of a person clearly remain within such an extent that overall compositions and picture quality in the case of printing are not impaired. PSOLUTION: This image recording device is provided with: a moving image photographing means based on a moving image photographic instruction; a static image photographic means based on a static image photographic instruction; and a face detection means for detecting the face of a person within a field when the static image photographic instruction is made during moving image photographing by the moving image photographic means. Also, this image recording device is provided with an angle of field setting means for setting the angle of field in the static image photographing when the face of the person is detected by the face detection means.
