PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control, without having an effect on VoIP traffic, data traffic flowing in a network in a wireless LAN multi-hop network consisting of one portal.;SOLUTION: In the wireless LAN multi-hop network consisting of one portal, traffics flowing through the network are divided into two classes, priority/non-priority, and band control is performed for the non-priority traffics. It is noticed that many of data traffics, which are objects of the non-priority traffics are TCP communication having a congestion avoidance function and chiefly communicate with the outside. Band control is performed at one node where the traffics are more concentrated than the non-priority traffics, a restriction object. Hereby, a band for the priority traffics is ensured, so that an operation, i.e., band control at a plurality of nodes becomes unnecessary, enabling traffics flowing through the network to be more easily controlled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
