Trichinella species-specific antigen and method for testing Trichinella infection using the antigen

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a species-specific antigen of Trichinella useful for early diagnosis of trichinosis. PSOLUTION: The species-specific antigen of the Trichinella is composed of a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of polypeptides having an amino acid sequence composed of a plurality of specified sequences or the amino acid sequence substantially the same as the sequence. The species-specific antigen of the Trichinella can be utilized as a kit for infection of the Trichinella by utilizing the species-specific antigen.
