PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component handler capable of dealing with a plurality of test section units different in size, arrangement, or number of sockets by itself, a method for operating the electronic component handler, and a testing tray and a pusher usable for the electronic component handler.;SOLUTION: The handler 1 can convey a test tray 500 in which a plurality of IC devices 2 are put, up to the positions of a plurality of sockets 40 which the test section units (Hi-Fix) 50 provided on a test head 5 have. Moreover, the handler 1 becomes matchable with and usable for any of the plurality of test units 50, by making approximately the same the size of each external shape of the plurality of test units 50 different in at least one kind of the size, arrangement (the pitch and the directions of planes are included), and number of the sockets 40.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
