PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping material for water supply and drainage capable of achieving fire prevention measures by the piping material itself, and excelling in constructibility.;SOLUTION: This piping material is formed by extruding, into a pipe-like shape, a resin composition containing scale-like thermally-expandable graphite at a ratio of 1-10 pts.wt. in 100 pts.wt. of polyvinyl chloride-based resin. By setting a ratio of scale-like graphite pieces in each of which both an angle formed by the scale-like thermally-expandable graphite piece with respect to a longitudinal axis B on a longitudinal cross section A of the piping material and an angle formed by the scale-like thermally-expandable graphite piece with respect an axis F vertical to a line E passing through the center D of a cross section C are oriented in the range of 80-100° when the longitudinal axis B and the vertical axis F are set at 90° are set not smaller than 70%, whereby the scale-like thermally-expandable graphite pieces are arranged along the circumferential direction and the longitudinal direction of the piping material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
