PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of allowing a user to use a necessary function immediately after power-on, and shortening a starting time. PSOLUTION: A basic program and a function program for achieving a specific function (basic program and copy program) are driven first by a start program, and unstarted function programs (font program and printer program) are started after the lapse of a specific time from the start of the operation of the start program, after the specific function (copy function) becomes available. As only the program for providing the function needed by the user can be started precedently, the user can utilize the necessary function immediately after power-on.
