Method and Kit for the identification and molecular differentiation of two cryptic species of Wild rodents of the genus Akodon (Rodentia, Cricetidae)

Procedure for identification and differentiation, through Comparison of Diagnostic Bands with molecular Markers by PCR, two cryptic species of Wild rodents of the genus Akodon (Rodentia, Cricetidae). Species are natural Reservoirs of different types of hantavirus, which are the etiological agents of hantavirus Cardiopulmonary syndrome (HCPs).This application also allows the formulation of Diagnostic Kits for identification and differentiation of specific species.
