The Invention proposes the creation of an application transcode video files for devices with limited Computing Power through the use of a Grid Computing Platform (12).The platform will provide the user storage space (making use of the storage capacity of the distributed Grid Platform and its own security mechanisms will be stored) where both the original video as the Video Transcoder.The solution also provides the device with a capacity of grid middleware (16), with the aim of achieving a complete Integration of the grid. This means that the application of transcoding could well be executed directly in the terminal or on the grid.
