PROCESS TO CONVERT BIOMASS INTO HIGH CARBON CONTENT AND HIGH ENERGY DENSITY FLUID PASTE; PROCESS IN WHICH A FLUID BIOMASS PASTE IS FED IN A HYDROGASIFICATION REACTOR CONTAINING A STAGE OF CONVERSION OF BIOMASS INTO A HIGH CARBON CONTENT AND A HIGH ENERGY DENSITY FLUID PASTE. Energy efficient process to convert biomass into high carbon content, high energy density of the water slurry. water and biomass are mixed at a temperature and pressure that are much lower than in previous processes, but under a non-oxidizing gas, which allows a stable fluid paste to be obtained containing up to 60% solids by weight, 20 - 40% carbon by weight in the slurry. The temperature is normally approximately 200 198 C under a non-oxidizing pressure of approximately 150 psi, conditions that are substantially less severe than those required in the process known by the prior art.
