The present invention relates to a method of diagnosing deferred laser absorption spectroscopy in pulse plasma using a control and measuring unit (RMB) comprising a sequence circuit module (SOM) interconnected with a laser source (LZ) and pulse generators, wherein the method of the present invention is characterized in that data samples bearing particulars about absorption and frequency of swept laser beam emitted from the laser source (LZ) into a periodically excited plasma object (PO) being measured, are withdrawn during the plasma excitation pulse (PG) as well as after finish thereof via one or several periods in exactly defined time interval from the beginning of the in the form of digitalized signals wherein this deferred withdrawal is controlled by a starting and synchronizing circuit (SSO) of the sequence circuit module (SOM) the operation of which is controlled based on the plasma excitation pulses (PG) with a forward phase shift of measuring interval periods (tdi1-n) such that every next pulse (PG) of plasma excitation causes a successive variation of absorption of atoms measured in the plasma over the entire range of wavelength of the swept laser beam in nanosecond order deferring. The invention also relates to a measuring system for making the above-described method.
