The present invention relates to a cement-based mixture intended for making parts for measuring response during mechanical stress, which mixture contains 40 to 65 percent by weight of cement, 20 to 45 percent by weight of sand, 0.5 to 3 percent by weight of glass fiber, 4 to 10 percent by weight of carbon particles, up to 3 percent by weight of carbon fiber. The invention further relates to cement-based part cement produced from the above-described mixture, which further contains 0.05 to 0.5 percent by weight of woven carbon fabric and at least two electrodes. Also disclosed is a method of measuring response to mechanical stress where a part is subjected to mechanical stress and change in impedance is measured.
