The invention relates to stripping of ammunition filled with hexogen-containing explosives. The removed explosive is subjected to a primary processing for use as an explosive sensitizer for manufacturing industrial explosives. A method of stripping ammunition is based on crushing of the charge positioned in the rotating ammunition body by action on it by central, peripheral or reverse jets of liquid fed under pressure through nozzle heads arranged in the rotating jet block. When the jet block contacts the charge surface the ammunition rotation is stopped for the time of jet block drawn out from the charge and after some delay its translation motion is continued with a rate equal to the washout rate calculated by a formula. The washed out explosive is crushed to particle size not exceeding 1p mm, separate "explosive-liquid" mixture, dose 50% mixture and reduce explosive humidity to 25%. A fine-dispersed explosive fraction (less than 56 mkm) is settled from a filtrate and the obtained clarified water is reused during explosive washout. A technological line for a method realization comprises an ammunition stripping installation including a high-pressure pump with an automatic pressure rise and drop, a unit for ammunition fixing and rotation, two hollow rods with the jet block and the nozzle heads for forming water jets, sensors of rod position, rate and jet displacement value, ammunition rotation rate, the jet block touch of the explosive charge, a device for controlling limit efforts, a couple of limit moment, a chamber for receiving the "explosive-liquid" mixture, a unit for separation thereof, a control and monitoring system comprising blocks of assign and regulation of the ammunition rotation rate, rates and the rod displacement value with the jet block. The technological line is provided with a crushing mechanism, dosage pumps and a press filter. The filtrate accumulator is connected via additional filters with an inlet of the accumulating capacity of clarified water connected to an inlet of the high pressure pump. The invention provides enhanced safety, controllability of the ammunition stripping process and primary explosive processing.
