TABLE TOP COCONUT HUSKING MACHINE CUM COCONUT SCRAPPER

The machine is useful for removing the husk of coconuts from which no husk is removed or the dry husk from which husk is partially removed. The machine consists of two blades with the blade attached to the straight portion of the D portion serrated vertically placed and pointing downwards. These blades are connected to levers with one end of one of the levers attached to a vertical rod attached to a base. The handles of the two levers are positioned one above the other. The two levers are pulled upwards and the coconut to be husked is placed on the base such that the bearded portion rests on the curved rod. The coconut to be husked is placed such that its bearded portion rests on the curved rod. Then the two levers are pushed downwards. The blade assembly thrusts into the husk of the coconut. Then holding the lower lever in place the upper lever is pulled upwards and the blade attached to it follows an upward aNial movement pulling off a portion of the husk. The process is repeated till the entire husk is removed. The curved portion of D is such that it is detachable from the straight portion of the D such that the straight portion of D with the serrated blade attached to the straight portion of the D can be lifted and locked at the vertical rod 4 so as to function as coconut scrapper.
